Terms of use

Last updated 9 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Afritelligence ("we", "us") provides online point-of-sale, inventory, purchasing, customer-credit and reporting software ("the service") at afritelligence.com and app.afritelligence.com. These terms apply to every business that opens an account ("you") and to the people you give logins to. By creating an account you agree to them.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done under your account and under the staff logins you create, and for choosing what each staff member may do. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Subscription and payment

Signing up is free. Using the till, stock, purchases, customers and reports requires an active subscription, charged per branch per month at the price shown on our Pricing page. Subscriptions are paid in advance through M-Pesa (or as agreed with us). A paid period is not refundable once it has started. If a subscription ends, the account is locked until it is renewed; your records are kept and become available again on renewal. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Your data

The products, sales, customers, suppliers and other records you enter belong to you. We use them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy policy. Each business can see only its own records. You can export your reports at any time and ask us for a copy of your data or for your account to be closed.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record, for your prices, receipts and stock, and for meeting your own legal and tax obligations, including KRA requirements such as eTIMS where they apply to your business. Afritelligence helps you keep records; it does not file returns on your behalf.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to sell prohibited goods, to send spam, or to try to access other businesses' data or interfere with the service (including by probing, scanning or overloading it). We may suspend an account that does so.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; we will tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce what you pay for.

8. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.

9. Ending the service

You can stop at any time by not renewing. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable. On request we will provide your data before an account is closed.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We may update them; the date above shows the latest version, and we will notify account holders of significant changes. Questions: WhatsApp +254795289968 or [email protected].
